Rita Martelo is a Master Designer specialised in Information Design from Central Saint Martins College, London, UK.
Her major information design contributions were developed for the British Governing Body for Swimming, Sports Administration of Stockholm City and wayfinding experts 'Mijksenaar BV' in Amsterdam.
Her work is featured in two design books: 'Output 10' and 'Data Flow – visualising information in graphic design', was presented at the Sign Design Society in London and holds an international design award by Output – foundation for future, design and education. She is currently an Assistant Professor at ESART – Politécnico Castelo Branco teaching Information Design.
Carlos Rosa is finishing his PhD in Information Design where he studied methodologies and design procedures to create better pictograms in order to improve quality in international public spaces.
His major information design contributions were developed for Portuguese hospitals, Federation of the Forest Producers of Portugal, public schools and the Portuguese Olympic Committee. He became one of the fewest Portuguese information designers who can predict pedestrian circulation only by using the blueprints of a building or a space, and holds the 'National Design Award' by Portuguese Design Centre.
He is also an Assistant Professor at IADE – Portuguese most prestigious school in Graphic Design teaching Graphic Design.
